Default Chance of matching

Hello,

I am planning to apply for match this September, 2019.

My credentials are:
Step 1: 224
Step 2 CK: 237
Step 2 CS: will take the exam soon.

2 months of observership. (will do a couple more before this match)
Volunteered as a consultant in a clinic for a couple of months
Volunteered in Senior Center for a couple of months.
1 research (not published though)
Non-US IMG
YOG: 2017

What are my chances of matching in IM? Kindly let me know your suggestions to improve my CV and increase my chances of matching?
Can you let me know any IMG friendly programs for this scores.

Thank you in advance

You have good chances as you have good scores. Try to complete CS in first attempt and try to gain hands-on rotations in IM specialty to make your CV more strong.

Default Good luck

Unfortunately no one can tell you the probability of matching. But I hv seen several people match with even lesser scores. You are recent grad which is great as well. U should not hv problems with securing good number of interviews. Ensure you prepare well for the interviews.

As an IMGs it is important to gain hands-on clinical experience for making the CV strong when compared to Observerships.

But since I have graduated already, they don't offer hands on and only observerships are available. Can you please let me know any hospitals/clinics which offer hands on?

You can ask for externships rotations, they are gained after graduation itself and are hands-on rotations.

Yes, you can match in IM; but you need to pass your CS. Apply broadly to programs in New York
