Furnished Room Available for Rent
Furnished Spare Room in suburban, owner-[2nd fl.]-occupied, pvt. home in S. Ozone Park, Queens, in a mid-income area. This home is not wheelchair accessible and is a 1 fam., 2 story home in a safe, culturally diverse, residential community. It is solar-powered, energy-efficient, with excellent heat and AC. Unrestricted, free parking. Servicing the area are numerous commuter servicers. Car rentals close by. There is a brief ride to the subways. (hospital distances from 2.5 to 6miles).
......The 1st floor rental room is a fully furnished, sunny bedroom with: two windows, walled artifacts, desk and chairs, DVD/TV, Wi-Fi, and next to a full bath. A small storage area is available at no charge.

Share: Kit., [microwave/toaster/range top/blender/coffee maker], and designated cabinet & refrig. storage areas; DN & LV seating, outdoor grounds and seasonal, heated filtered, Endless pool. Roomer is responsible for upkeep of this rented room and semi-pvt. bath and helping keep tidy other shared areas. Also, assist outdoors as severe winter storms may dictate.
.....There are standard safety devices: fire extinguishers, CO2 and smoke/fire detector/alarms, and premises security.
.....Walk to: laundries, grocery shops, take-out eateries, athletic courts, fitness parks, Crunch gym, tennis and boating. Near the Resorts World Casino-[entertainment/world class dining/gaming], the TWA Hotel - [infinity pool, fitness center, ice skating rink] at JFK; post offices, banks, places for worship, cultural dining, and by JFK international airport.

.....This venue is suitable for a visiting Professor, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, IMG or AMG on rotations, medical interns, international student, flight staff or temporarily displaced disaster victim.
......Not suitable for: alcoholics, substance abusers, smokers or proselytizers, persons on psychotic Rx’s, persons with 24/7 electrical medical device dependency, requirements for 3rd party help [turnover of home health aides] or those with no emergency contacts.

Requires preliminary online interview, application, verifiable background-reference checks. $750 sec+$900 mo. rent incl. util. Short term 3mos. or a semester OK, long term preferred. Receipts are provided. Mandatory Rental Agreement is used. Renter’s insurance highly recommended. ONLY independent, neat, trustworthy, reliable, with no: constant people traffic, mobility challenges on stairs or allergies/phobias to cats.
