Today was supposed to be day 1 of my exam, but the center was closed due to inclement weather.
Can I still give day 2 of the exam tomorrow?? any idea? there's no information out there! The prometric center is an hour's drive from my place. :/
Hey guys, just was wondering if they provide us with blank paper to write out all our quick thoughts and notes in the exam. This way it'd be written for questions that may show up according to the same topic later.
Let me know and of course good luck!
Couple of questions:
1) Are you allowed to wear a watch inside the testing center?
2) Anyone in the US/Canada have problems using a pashmina?
I know these seem strange, but I'm just basing this on my school rules.. and I couldn't find anything specifically online.
The official usmle bulletin states that candidates are not allowed to bring personal stuff, paper, pen, etc. to the test center. So do the prometric centers provide paper/pen to candidates for making rough notes? Or making notes itself is not allowed altogether? Previous test takers, please comment.
You guys might heard or remember that "Best time to take step 1 was like Feb - March and etc". I want to know if there is a such thing for 2ck.
What's the best time for IMGs to give 2ck?

I took a DIT class and they stated that once you enter the test center you can quickly jot down notes on the erasable marker board that the test center gives to you. For example, you can just quickly jot down formulas that you might think you'll forget. Is that okay? Or are you only allowed to...

Can anybody plzz suggest, how to remain focused or keep concentration, during 8 hrly step1 exam??
i usually feel tired and exhausted and also lose concentration, after completing approx. 3-4 blocks.. :(
Can anybody please help me regarding this..??
I know this sounds kinda too much, but sometimes I need to refocus my concentration, and im a fast typer so instead of highlighting the key words in the question stem, I like to type them in the notes section of Uworld. Does the real exam have such a section where you can take notes. Im pretty...
I think number of questions per block have changed from July 1, 2013 because the official website posted that
" As a reminder, there will be 42-44 questions in each block " . So, previously there were 28 questions in last block on some exams but nowadays number of questions will be 42-44 in...
