So my question is very simple. Is the USCE requirements of various residency programs absolutely rigid? (as rigid as the requirements for scores?)

I am an IMG without visa, I am planning to apply for the IM 2015 match, as I am almost done with Step 1,2 CS/CK, I will have time next year to take Step 3 before september 15th.
Is it a good idea to take Step 3 before applying?

Hi guys, can anyone offer some good advice? What is better, being a graduate for 13 yrs and now doing boards and doing 6-12 months of Externships in US or being a recent grad? of course with good scores in both?
is there a big difference between 2 applicants where one is 2013 graduate and the other is 2014 graduate applying for 2014 matching programs in terms of possibility of getting accepted for the match ? I mean will being one year late after your graduation highly affect your probability of getting...
A program has this on their website:
Minimum score 225 or above on USMLE Step 1 and 2 and passing score on CS. All must be passed on first attempt.

I need no Visa sponsorship. I have 3 US LOR's (all waived) and 2 from home country.
My question is ...
I am an IMG and have not yet given Step 1 and Step 2 CK. I gave Step 2 CS last year and failed. I would like to know that what are my chances of matching now? If I get good scores in Step 1 and 2CK, will I be able to match? I do have 3.5 months of USCE and some clinical rotations in UK and...

Here I describe the process by which candidates are going to be filtered by the match programs
Filter One (American Grads Vz IMGs): Certainly AMG are preferred. In fact many programs tend to stay away from IMGs. Note that this filter is not about nationality or ethnicity, so e.g. if you are...
