A patient presents with a mass in the neck which located above the angle of the right mandible. It is not freely mobile and the position does not change with the protrusion of the tongue.

Which one of the following is the most likely diagnosis?

A. Branchial cyst
B. Carotid body tumour
C. Parotid gland mass
D. Ranula cyst
E. Thyroid nodule

I think its Carotid body tumour because they are most commonly occuring painless head & neck tumours,
So I go wd B
