hey guys, if an adolescent has abnormal menstrual bleeding, like heavy bleeding for 3 days with cycle every 3-4 mnths, its because of immature hpo axis... but if it is an sexually active adolescent then we have to do pregnancy test... is it to confirm if it an abortion? I dont get why we have to do preg test if she is already bleeding... also will they mention sex. active or do we assume and answer preg test as best initial test for all qs...
