The anticodon of yeast serine tRNA is 5' AGC 3' which of the following is most likely to be serine codon?

A) 5' ACG 3'
B) 5' CGG 3'
C) 5' GCU 3'
D) 5' UAG 3'
E) 5' UCG 3'

Answer is C

You have to go antiparallel to get the mRNA codon.
So starts from the 3' end and look for "U" as it complements the the "A" in the anticodon. The only option is here is C which is 5' CGU 3'

yep guys C is the write answer;)

we always write from 5' onwards... and 5' base pairs with 3' end...
