Hello everyone! This little pdf file is the result of two months of (well, on-and-off) writing about my USMLE Step 1 experience. It's a little text-heavy result, I have to warn you!

In 28 pages, I've tried to include a detailed description of my preparation, basic strategy proposals, a brief critique on all the resources that I've used, and some remarks about the test in general.

I hope you enjoy it, and most importantly, that you will find some of my tips helpful! For any remarks or questions, I'll be around! :)

Hey Antiochos,

I read your step 1 experience. the trials and tribulations that lead to an exceptional score. Great job man!

good luck in rotations and ace that step 2!

Perhaps on my test date i will score a 250 (aiming for 260+) so hoping for that range

Anatomy and biochem are my nemesis, hopefully with your advice i shall conquer them prior to step day.

thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to help us all out.

take care

I very rarely find board experiences detailed so daintily - not concise at all in your case (haha), but not superfluous either; and therein lies the beauty.
Thank you for taking your time to put it in words- such an effort is certainly meant to be shared. Congratulations on your score and all the best for the remaining exams!
Also, very appropriate sign off. To which I would add, 'In omnia paratus'. :)

Thank you all for your kind words! :)

There are really no nemesis subjects in the Step - we all begin weak on some points. Diligent work is all that's needed to prepare, and weak points simply require just a bit more commitment than others!

After all...'there is nothing impossible to him who will try'.

Hello Antiochos,
I just finished reading your USMLE step 1 experience, and it was amazing. I respect people who work hard and are not afraid to share knowledge. I want to thank you with all my heart. The medical world needs more people like you.
I will be doing my step 1 after 1 year and 6 months( I'm currently in 3rd year), and I will follow all your tips. As my schools curriculum is weak compared to other universities, I will spend the majority of my time building a strong basic foundation.
Inshallah, when I do my test I will inform you of my score, and I will share my experience with other medical students. Hence, I want to thank you in advance for all your help.
Ps. Sorry if I made any grammatical mistakes, as I using my phone at the moment.
