Hello everyone! I'm a 25 year old Argentinian. I'm finishing Med school and getting my diploma this year. I'm very interested in doing a Pediatrics Residency in the US.
What do I need to do, besides the Steps? Is it very difficult getting into that particular Residency?
Do I need to get a special visa? Do you get paid as a Resident and is that enough to live in the US?

Thank you very very much in advance.

It's not difficult to get into pediatric residency, specially if you have good scores.

It will be much easier if you also do pediatric USCE (see our USCE Forum).

Yes, you will be paid during residency (around $3,000 per month) which is enough to live.

You can find other Argentinians preparing for USMLE, click the Argentina tag link at the bottom of this thread.
