I've been preparing for the past 3 months and am planning to take up my exam on jan 31st. I've been working out Uworld for the past 10 days. My scores so far have been in 60-70% range with an overall 64%. I've been doing subject wise questions and I find anat and biochem to be the toughest among them (54% and 50%) are my overall scores sufficient. How should I focus my preparation from now on?
In my case, I was scoring 67%, I scored 440 in NBME online, which shook me a little bit because i thought that >65% in UW is a 99. Then I studied harder and went up to 72%, scored 570 in a new NBME online and then i scored 243 in the exam. Do an NBME midway to the exam, know your weaknesses and after intense study go for a second NBME.
I've finished all the unused questions in UW. My final average scores are 64%. I've scheduled my exams on 31st of this month. How should I further proceed with my preparation?
15 days left? I'd first, do an NBME, then I'd do FA again, and do the free 150 questions. If you're still not sure of yourself, you can do USMLEconsult for the remaining few weeks - it's $75 for a month long subscription and well worth it in my opinion...
Took my NBME today. Scored 480 - 218. But my USMLE simulation exam scores were 238 and 250. I've only 1 wk for my exams and i'm totally confused right now... Should I take my exams as planned or should i postpone them???
