I got married in 2009 and my name changed in that year. I registered with usmle in 2011. I applied to do step 1 in 2014. How ever back in 2011 I registered with my maiden name due to my University bureaucracy. :redcheeks;
Now I would like to do a name change, but not sure as to when it will be best to do it? after I pass step 1 or step 2 or step 3? I want to change my name, but I want to avoid the nightmare of dealing with my University. :toosad:
Do I wait until I get a medical residency offer? As a foot note I became a USA citizen in 2014.
