In this poll we vote for the Best USMLE Step 1 Live Review Course.

Choice of Courses Listed:
The courses listed above are useful for Med school students during their med school years as well as graduates who are preparing for the step 1 exam. Courses that are outdated (website no longer updated) are removed from the poll, their votes are also deleted in the process.
 If we have missed a USMLE Step 1 Review Course, please post about it in the mainstream Step 1 Forum and we'll add it to this poll.

You will also notice that we move away or delete replies to this thread. This is because we want the focus on the poll above rather than discussion and comments. You can always comment about any book in our main Step 1 Forum. You can also find all related discussions about live step 1 courses in our Step 1 Courses Tag Link.

Positivity usmle success academy

I love the useful encouraging links usmlesuccess academy sends. They are so attentive, positive, and encouraging! I am actually getting excited to take the test that determines my future....when I my normal (healthy?) tendency is to dread tests...but they offer endless support it seems! Positivity and attention, sounds like a great start to me. Let alone what else they'll have to offer!

Usmle Success Academy

His lectures are detailed that you can never miss the dream score you work towards with Him. You can always check if Usmle Success Academy is right for you by looking through their youtube samples. Stay with the course 110% and you will get the score you pine for.

Best Review Course:

The one I have had a very good interaction with has been USMLE SUCCESS ACADEMY. I have spoken with Dr.Paul via email a couple of times and he is very cooperative, informative, and direct. One of the things I like the most about their program is they seem to be trying to be financially friendly to the USMLE review board candidate. This is especially important to me!

Do not take usmle sucess academy course

Just took the USMLE SUCCESS ACADEMY.... It is an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME!!! Stick with the better known programs such as Kaplan or Pass.

Usmle success academy just seems like they are trying to push students through and they use copyright information from other programs to create their books. Some of the information in there is also wrong so BUYER BEWARE! :eek:

USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK Prep Programs

I took the USMLE Success Academy's live prep and rocked my Step 1 exam. I was using Kaplan videos and notes before that but my NBME scores were really low. After 3 weeks at the Success Academy I was able to increase my score a lot. Even though I wasn't that impressed with the Kaplan notes and videos, I am currently taking their Step 2 CK prep and it rocks. I definitely recommend Success Academy for Step 1 Prep and Kaplan for Step 2 CK prep.

Great Step 1 Score taking USMLE Success Academy

I recently passed my step 1 and I wanted to thank everyone for the great info! I attended a decent school in the Caribbean and used the mandatory Kaplan review course to prep for step 1. I took the advice of my friends and this forum and took a few nbme exams after I was done with the Kaplan course. I was not passing my nbmes and I needed more help because the best score I had was a 169 :scared:!!! I read the reviews about the success academy and my good friend had taken their online class in the past so I decided to sign up for their online and live classes. It took me 8 weeks to complete both courses and I was also using Uworld. My nbme scores went up a lot and I was able to pass my step with a score of 237. Thank you success academy for your help!!:) P.S. Bring your own coffee if you take the live course!:))
