I wanted to know if the process of Bone Formation is important for Step 1. The whole process of how the bone is formed is explained in detail in the Kaplan Histology notes (Anatomy lecture notes, Section 1, Chapter 3).
But after reading that chapter, I found it pretty hard to retain all the information and steps involved in the bone formation process. Does anyone know of a better source (perhaps with pictures) to explain this. Or should I not worry about it as much for the step? I do know the basics of it - Diaphysis, Epiphyisis - types of ossifications n all of that .. but the process is confusing!
