Person exposed to benzene containing agent develops pancytopenia
on tissue biopsy you see numerous adipocytes in the bone marrow.

I don't understand the concept! Can anybody explain it please

in aplastic anaemia(pancytopenia)...u dont have erythroid cells to fill bonemarrow...
& u cant keep things empty in your body:))...
to replace that erythroid cells adipocytes n lymphocytes come der....its not related to benzene only any cause of aplastic anaemia end up with this...

so on another note, if this person fell n his bone cracked a bit, won't he be prone to fat emboli more than normal?
