If the elective clerkship was part of your medical school core curriculum then you put it as medical education. But it was your individual choice and outside your medical school curriculum then you put it as experience.

Likewise, observerships are to be in the experience section.

Anything that did not produce an educational certificate is considered an experience rather than medical education.

CME, including online CME is to be put in the medical education.
I want to ask about my case, Our medical university curriculum contains credit hours for elective in the 6th year.
We have the choice either to do elective inside or outside (e.g USA)
Is it considered medical education where ever I do it ?

We also have a research in the curriculum in the 6th year.
What about it ?

The most important thing, Does it differs if they are medical education or experience ? in other words, What weighs more in matching ?
