Silly question, but how hard are they? Do we have to know the formulas inside out? So far, I am still just answering calculation questions based on the units (just trying to mix and match the units to guess the formulas).

But are the calculation questions in Step 1 as hard as the ones behind every Kaplan Physiology/Pharmacology chapter? (where I almost tore my hair out while doing them)

..or are they so straightforward that all you have to do is memorize the formulas in First Aid, and if you can fit the right value to the right spot on the formula, you can answer the question?

To summarize my question, "Was the Step 1 calculation questions ever a problem for you?"

In my exam there were two questions
One pharma equation and one renal physio
but they were very simple calculation much simpler than what you see in Kaplan QBank
by the way UW they don't have those complex calculation questions like Kaplan
