Not good....If you get a pre-match offer, you take it. Unless you don't want it. But if you didn't want it, then of course they will assume you aren't going to put it high on your list and neither will they. Therefore, if you did want it, you should have taken the pre-match offer. Say goodbye to that place.

They say you should try to schedule your 'first choice' interview first in case of pre-match offer.

By chance you may, but I know a friend that turned one down then tried getting it back...it doesn't happen. There are a lot of people trying to get spots. You may get a better choice or you may get a worse choice. But I'm 80% sure you are not going to get that choice you just turned down. sorry

This is the reason why the MATCH was created, to provide you (the applicant) with the best possible choice. Prematch is basically a dirty game to get the best candidates and force them to accept you under pressure and fear that they may not get another place.

In the match, the algorithm places you at the best possible place. Usually, it's a place much higher and better than a prematch. Unless the program is REALLY GOOD and you like it, DON'T ACCEPT.
