There's something confusing in Kaplan
in their notes they said that hPL is responsible for the high blood sugar seen in pregnant
while in their qbank they NO it's hGH which is the cause of that

Which one is correct?

Placental hGH-V

It's the growth hormone which has the diabetogenic properties
there's a special variant of Growth hormone that is released from the placenta which is called Placental hGH-V and it's thought to be the cause of gestational diabetes.

Probably you have an outdated Kaplan lecture notes and an updated qbank :D
