Hi guys!

I have an option to do some research in Canada. The topic of research is too specific which focuses on drawing guidelines on when to and when not to use CT scan based on cost. I m planning for Internal Medicine match 2016 in US, will it be useful n still considered for internal medicine match.
Is the topic like this stressing on cost effectiveness worth spending time? What kind of research is counted best for Int Med match?

When you have pinpointed something as pervasive as IM, it is a good idea to conduct research on something neutral i.w - Stem cells, HIV, DM, HTN, etc
Does research experience in Canada counts good when applying for residency in US. I am getting a position in a research that is just starting, will takemore year to publish. If I want to apply in residency, will that help me or should I not waste my time because I still have to take ck n cs.
