Could not take the exam, should I use the same ECFMG ID?

I have got a problem...well I have already applied for step 1 and I got everything processed and got the exam date too but couldn't take the exam ....so I want to know now that as i reapply for the step 1 again then can i apply again through my earlier registration number or do I need to get a new one...?

Also, they will ask you if you have applied for an exam before and you should answer yes and give them the application number.
