The Boards love to ask about this in clinical scenarios seen both in all the steps but particularly CK.

Here's a table of comparison that help us differentiate the three most common vaginal infections (Bacterial, Parasitic, and Fungal).

Types of Vaginal Discharges

Here is quick list of Vaginal Discharges and their common presentation with diagnosis -

White-curd like = Candida Albicans Vaginitis

Purulent = N.Gonorrhoeae & C.Trachomatis

Yellow-Green, foamy, foul smelling = Trichomonas

Gray, fishy odor = G.Vaginalis Vaginosis
