I have a problem, my medical records don't show my last name only first & middle name, but my passport & other IDs have 3 names first mid & last.

What should I do now? will a letter from college dean help? plz reply quick....

I need to apply this week... plz help.

I called ECFMG and they said dean's letter will work, let's see if it does. hope for the best.
but I have another question will that be a problem when I apply for residency or match b/c again ECFMG record will show full name & diploma /transcript will show incomplete name.

You'll need the paper for the rest of your life

You should get your college to write an official letter with college letter head paper and signed by the dean and registrar that both names belong to the same person.

This document you will be holding with for the rest of your life.

You'll need it when you apply to ECFMG, take USMLE exam, apply to residency, get a job in USA ....etc
