Early Results of the 2010 Match has been released.
Here's a summary;
382 More PGY1 positions are offered compared with 2009 Match.
42.3% of IMG applicants have matched compared to 43.7% in 2009.
It's important to note that the above percentage regarding the IMGs does not include Pre-Matches, which a phenomenon seen commonly among IMGs. Therefore, there's no clear idea as to whether IMGs are facing more difficulties compared to prior year unless the number of IMGs actually entering PGY1 positions is released in June.
