Hi ..

I have applied for step1 and got the approval at 16 Oct 2010, two days back a decided to register for CS but this is what I found in my IWA and oasis (like they say ..a picture worth a 1000 words)
so based on my current status ,, do I have to apply again for ECFMG certification to apply for another exam?

Call ECFMG immediately

There's a new rule in ECFMG that says that you have to be certified before you can apply to the examination.

However, the big dilemma is that you already have a valid Form 187 until September 2015

I'd say you have to call the ECFMG right now. There must be an error in your account. You should not be asked about Form 187 again.

Some people were sent notifications that their certificate of identification form has been invalidated, but I think it's not your case, you still have a valid Form 187 as your OASIS account is showing.

PS- Please tell us what the ECFMG tells you in the phone.

thanks for the fast reply ..

I called them , they told me just to submit the ECFMG certification form by answering the 15 Qs in the application without the need for sending any documents (just a kind of profile updating ) ...

this is my new IWA
