hello everyone,
i wanted to know if i could apply for electives to the university of toronto, canada? http://www.md.utoronto.ca/students/visiting.htm ..would it still be considered as USCE?. though i rely on my friends lee and ahmed advice, i would like to know the general opinion.. is it worth it? kindly help

My friend has done 6 weeks of electives in Vancouver and she then was able to be place in a prestigious residency program in Massachusetts

So yes, it will be very helpful for you

It's like USA

Canadian medical graduates are well preferred in USA as the system closely resemble the American system.
They even have a special system to aid them in the match called CaRMS.
So when you do an elective in Canada, you are just like doing an elective in USA.
