thank u so muchYes, we can. Most of the hospitals do not require Step 1. Athough there are few. Just make sure u apply 4-6 months in advance. And most of them require TOEFL.

Most of them are willing to sponsor B1/B2 Visa which is a Visa that can be used to attend a business meeting or for a conference or for electives ..etc.
However, few universities have started to require J1 Visa even for the electives but that's still rare.

Many US residency programs certainly happy if you did electives in US but it's usually not a requirement per se.
Thanx dudeI know that St. Luke's and Cleveland Clinic both offer elective rotations for free. But am sure there are many more. Do your search in all universities.
