Which labeled structure contain muscle precursor cell derived from somite

"H" i think
well, i chose "H" because of the order of skin to bone... So i assumed that "I" is probably ectoderm or simple connective tissue, couldn't really tell... I thought "G" was bone... While "H" was the muscle that usually surrounds bone typically in the limbs... I do admit that if it really is connective tissue, muscle, bone.. they all have a mesodermal origin.. but i defintelly know it cant be anything in the middle.

It looks more like an out branching of a forming limb or anything really. Its a tough question.. im not even sure if im right or not, but thats how i came 2 an answer

Looks Like H..... i can see the body cavity forming and the neural tube.., so the flaps at the side look like limb buds.. and well if the central axis is the bone.. the muscles are beside.. :eek:

Finally I got to label all of them from these books. Figure 8.1 in High Yield Embryology. Figure 9.4 B in Langman's Medical Embryology (very good book, just look illustration, you even doesn't need to read).

C notochord
D aorta
E mesentery
F gut tube
G limb bones
H limb extensor muscles
I fascia (subcutaneous fat)

Hi Dear, i didn't find this pic in HY 4th ed. and i dont have langman.
Vikas, just search for embryo pics on google images. Or try downloading Langman or get it from a library. It really is a good book. I have used it for my undergrad studies. But I'm not so sure about it for preparing for step 1.
