A 23 year old girl has been found to have a positive bHCG test today. Her LMP was June 12, 2009. Past medical history is significant for a cylcic pattern of breast tenderness, mood swings, and cramps three weeks on and two weeks off. What is the likely expected date of delivery?

A- March 5, 2010.
B- March 8, 2010.
C- March 12, 2010.
D- March 19, 2010.
E- March 26, 2010.

Answer is E March 26

The Naegele's rule is based on a regular 28 days cycle and it estimates the EDD as follows; LMP - 3Months + 7 days.

Since your patient is have 35 days cycle then you have to add the extra days
35-28= 7 days. So the formula will be
LMP - 3 Months + 14 days.

u do the math
