Hi everybody,

I need advice & help..

I did step 2 ck twice before once on 2007 & 2008 but i failed as i didn't prepare will at that time,
I graduated at 2005

Now I have a plan to apply again for USMLE to join residency program at internal medicine at USA.

My question is that do I have a chance to join the residency program after passing USMLE? or during matching I will not get chance as I failed before in step 2 CK twice? & what is the recommended score now to get chance in matching?

You have very little chance

Your chances are very low in getting into residency.

You can increase your probability by doing the following:

Scoring high (above 90 score) in both Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
Doing USCE like observerships or preferably externships
Doing research
Making connections with residency programs in USA
Passing the CS from the first attempt
Getting strong US letters of recommendations.

If you don't do the above, I see you have very little chance in being accepted.
