I got my first rotation set and my school is making me start off with surgery. . lol.. Im a little freaked out to start off with this..

But what would be one word of advice to do when starting the rotation and how best to impress the attending/residents.

I already have Surgical Recall to use during the wards to anticipate questions from them, just wondering if there was something in particular you guys did during your rotations?

Sorry this isn't step relevant as this is a Step 2 CK forum.

I don't have much advice on this specific specialty, but the general advice to impress the attendings is appearing early or at least on time, and never late. Act like you're really interested in what you're doing. Show enthusiasm. Ask questions. Don't act like a wiseman "listens, but doesn't talk".
