I found muself miserable at the end of the month, when my Biochem deck became as large as 500 cards, and it took me 2.5 weeks to fill it. Eventually I lost all of my willpower for cards reviewing and fell into depression. How did you people solve this problem? OVERCARDING its name
For those who's going to say 'create cards only for important facts' - hey, I'd say for 80-90% of my cards that they don't deserve to be deleted! I'm going to start a new deck, and it'll be my 5th
I would recommend you get premade flashcards first. Brosencephalon has a free deck available on Anki. After finishing each subject deck, add any new card/ fact that you found missing.
Thank you) it definitely deserves looking into. It's just I wish I could find a balance in making my own cards. Also there's an approach which suggests ankying only first aid, leaving review books to simple reading for catching ideas. But is there enough in FA?? Ffffffuuuu(((
Yes do check out Brosencephalon. I could only find its patho link through google but it is https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/930310967
It has made flashcards from Pathoma and First Aid.
I think at this stage doing flashcards, or more importantly qbanks, is more important than making flashcards, which can often be really time consuming.
Another great idea might be to do pre-made FA flashcards of Brosencephalpn or USMLERx and make flashcards of Uworld (after doing say 2 blocks a day)
Just a suggestion though.
