When you see Fried Egg appearance in USMLE exam think of the following:
- Mycoplasma Pneumoniae grew fried egg colonies in Eaton agar
- Oligodendroglioma giving rise to chickenwire pattern and fried egg appearance of cells because of perinuclear hallo
- Hairy cell leukemia with its hair like projections may give rise to fried egg appearance in bone marrow biopsy
- Seminoma with it's clear cytoplasm and round nuclei may also give rise to fried egg appearance under the microscope
