What is the MOA of glucocorticoid in the treatment against cancer? Which is more predominantly associated with it - inhibition of connective tissue proliferation or apoptosis? :sleepy: Thanks so much in advance!

I think they work on cellular signaling pathway.

But again, my dear, that's not high yield at all. The USMLE will never ask you about this.

It is given at least in leukemias, lymphomas, myelomas and breast cancer.

so that means p53 might be involved and also the fas pathway? what other major mechanisms does it involve?
