It's not wise to put CXR and AXR in different lines but you can put CT brain and MRI brain in different lines as they are somewhat different modalities specially if the case indicated the need for both.
Similarly, it looks foolish to put CBC and Hb level in different lines but I think it's OK to say CBC and ESR in different lines as these are usually ordered separately in USA.

More examples

good point, dedicated

so it matters what can really be ORDERED with what.
mmmmmm.....

do you have more examples?
Like for example you can put ALT, AST, Bilirubin, Albumin, ALP, GGT, and liver functions tests in one line.
Like for example you can put TSH, T3, T4, Antithyroglobulin together yet you can put thyroid nuclear scan in a separate line if you wish.

I can continue putting more examples but I think you got the idea ;)

This is not a reference

awesome, but only if you are sure
what are your sources ? and I would be delighted if you give more examples.
Wait a minute ...
This is just my personal opinion
No reference at all
No proof at all
Don't take it for granted
Do what you think is best
