Hi, I have a quick question for those of you who have already TAKEN the actual exam (or know someone that has taken the actual exam).

I want to know how many choices do the questions of the actual exam have? (ex: A-E only, or do they go up to G,H, or I...like some of the USMLE World questions do)...please let me know...i am very confused. I always thought that the choices will only be up to E, but after doing Uworld (which is suppose to be similar to the actual exam), i am not sure what to expect.

Thanks!

4-15 options in each question.

Each question stem can have anywhere between a minimum of four to a maximum of 15 options. (not sure about the maximum, but am sure they can be more than 10).

So what you've seen in USMLE World is actually what you'll see in the exam.

However, if your were question was what is the most frequent number of options then yes it's usually 5 options.

If you want to see by yourself how the exam style and formatting and software I suggest you do the Free USMLE Practice Materials from the official USMLE Website.
