How many questions do we need to practice before we can take Step 2 CK?
Most of my friends fall in the range of 2000 to 3000

How about You?

It's not only the quantity but also the quality
Someone who has done 1000 high yield questions would score higher than someone who has done 5000 low yield questions

Speaking of this
I think USMLE World and Kaplan Q banks are still the highest yield banks so far

I've seen several friends hitting on CK with qbanks only.
They did not read Kaplan, FA, or any other book. Only qbanks.
Usually the target is 5000 questions before safely entering the CK exam

USMLE World is more than enough my dear. You don't need to do the Kaplan Qbank.

How many questions?

More is better. UW has almost 2300 and you must do it at least twice so there is your range of 4000-5000.

The more questions the better prepared. I went through UW twice and was well prepared. I guess it also depends on the person.
