I don't have a mnemonic, but the famous two guiding rules get me through most questions correctly:
AR in young children
AD in adults
This is easy to remember by the idea that an AD disease would negatively affect your chances at procreation if it were early onset. A classmate of mine remembers it by AD -> ADult.
AR usually enzymes
AD usually structural
This holds true less than the first rule, but is still pretty high-yield if you just can't remember the genetics. You can remember both rules at once by thinking of the AR enzyme lysosomal storage diseases in young children.
