thx for yr awesome post.

so this is actually saying that if we possess the gene variant CETP VV, then we will age slower and have a higher capability of memory retention? this is so interesting. i have so much to ask:

1) can we all do a test to see if we possess this gene?
2) whats the gene locus?
3) what can we do to maintain a good function of this gene?
4) has eating raisins of drinking wine (which has been said to help in memory power retention) anything to do with the works of this gene?

5) is there any way i can ask these questions to the people doing this research? :)

sorry to hear about yr grandpa Dr. ath.pantelis.

and yeah.. i hope this research gets real upbeat and the common man can be warned about it. i cant help but wonder, does continued reading help keep this gene to be alive or from degradation? which is y ppl are always told to read continually and learn new stuff.
