Interview Tips!

Tip(s) Of The Day!

NEVER EVER DIRECTLY CALL THE PROGRAM ASKING WHATS GOING ON ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION AND THE INTERVIEW (especially this early). BE PATIENT! OTHERWISE YOU WILL ONLY PISS THEM OFF. *

Due to fierce competition, be prepared to answer questions pertaining your weakness. At the same time, you must also know what is fair to be asked and what is not? What you can answer and what you can politely dodge off the question.

A good application gets you an iv, which in return can get you the prematch. The deciding factor here is how well your iv goes...

FMGs, prepare hard and well for an iv. Our resident doctors will work one to one until you are thorough in your responses and other skills.

Never lie about anything! You can politely dodge the question, but if you lie and get caught, you might not get residency anywhere. These PDs have big networking and the news may travel faster than we can imagine.

Thanks

OK, so we should not be sticky :)

But what if there's some urgent matters such as confirming an interview appointment or some updates with our status! Should we shut our mouth up and wait (painfully) for them to contact us!

i think u should do .. u may have nothing to do about it :(
Email, email, and email!

You can email the residency coordinator, or even the PD (if you must), but try not to call unless you are told to do so.
