What Kaplan online qbank score correlates to a real exam score of 99?
Obviously I am talking about random timed unanswered questions

69% Kaplan Score estimates 99 USMLE Score

Previously they were saying you have to get 65% correct answers in Kaplan Qbank to get the 99 in the USMLE.
Recently they have changed it to 69%.

Thank you!
I have another question though : generally, which qbank is believed to be a more accurate predictor of step 1 score : Kaplan or UW?
Thank you!

NBME are supposed to be the best "predictors" of the score. :)

In terms of predictions. I'd say both Kaplan and UW are equal but as donofitaly told you, the NBMEs are the best predictors.

I have another question related to this. I'm doing Kaplan Qbank after I've already done UWorld, so does the estimator still apply? Most people do Kaplan Qbank before UW so would that mean that their scores are usually lower in Qbank than UW or does the fact that UW's questions are harder negate this? Some of the Kaplan questions are sneaky too lol but overall it seems easier.
well ya....m having the same Qs...m doing uworld now....after doing kaplan....n m scoring high on uworld...so can we use this score as score relater...??? as i almost know all topic...that has been covered in kaplan...
Maybe we're both just prepared for the exam because we know the concepts. HAHA lol. I hope that's the case. :)
