Hi guys, I did usmle step 2 ck today, the questions were very long. In every block, I didn't have enough time for the last five questions, even to read them properly and i had to answer the questions so fast without thinking or by chance :( I think I have many mistakes in last questions that make me feel really bad. I did uwsa with the score of 260 and i didn't expect this happen to me during the exam 馃槩.
Does any body have the same experience and tell me what happened to the score?
also for those who didn't do the exam yet, don't be worry about the questions, they are not thet difficult. Just manage your time, this is the clue for good score

Hi. I had the same situation a couple years ago with my exam. I remember that didn't have enough time neither..But the result was no so bad as I expected. So don't worry about this. Everything will be ok:)
And for those who didn't do the exam yet, stay calm and think before write. Good luck

I took my test 4 wednesdays ago and expecting my results today.
I pretty much had no time for at least 4-5q in almost every block. you're not the only one.
for the those of you preparing to take the test, the questions are about 2-3 lines longer than uworld on average. I was always able to finish a uworld block with about 10-12mins to spare. on the real deal, thats not the case at all. plus of course you are more careful and u double check things etc. so go in with that mentality because the test is longer than what we're used to in uworld and nbmes.
I'll let u know how it goes, i honestly have no idea how i did. I refused to take any assessment tests before the exam so I'm not sure where I was before the test....so terrified:eek:

EDIT JUST GOT MY SCORE AND I DID AWFUL!!! I DROPPED 10 POINTS FROM MY STEP 1 SCORE :( I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I CAN'T BELIEVE IT

My exam is this friday... I am very worried, because everybody says time management is an issue... And apparently our scores will be delayed because of the new question pool that started on July 11th. The scores are expected to be released on Sep 16th :toosad: So probably we will have to wait more than 3 weeks!! It will be a torture to wait till then!!

Anyway, good luck with your score!!

oh, I didn't know about the new question pool. So it is better not to think about the score any more and enjoy my vacation with my family this summer .
About the exam don't be worry my friend, as I told you the questions are not very hard, but I am sad because I know I could answer the last questions better if I had enough time. In one block after I did last questions very fast and I just had 30 seconds left I saw my last question is a very easy question in statistics, but in that short time I could not think properly and I used the wrong formula :(
I think the people who manage the time are the winners of usmle , having knowledge is not enough for this crazy exam.
I don't want to put you in stress.you have still time to work on your weaknesses. Be confident and good luck!
