Well, I have different opinion about this. I think that the single most important purpose of the NBME tests is guage our performance and progress and to predict our scores.
Why should we look for the answers? Looking for answers and explanations means that you are still in the building up stage while NBME should be a final shape up to test your efforts in the days preceding your exam.
