but my question was about hypothyrodism not parahypothyrodism.
What exactly causes the muscle cramps in thyroid hormone deficit?
What kind of electrolite disturbance causes it?
Is this due to low Ca++ or low Na+?

Yeah, you right. The main cause of muscle cramps in hypothyr. is low Na+

I am asking about these concepts in order to clearly understand. Once you get it, you gonna remember it for all of your life and also you gonna better understand what's is exactly going on in a particular disease.
I am just following the Goljan advice. :)
