Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share my study schedule with everyone to get some feedback from you guys! Also, if its a good study schedule u guys follow it as well! I plan on taking my step 1 near the end of May.

Anyways, Goodluck to everyone whose writing their STEP in the near future and thanks in advance to all the post steppers for all the help!

First AID (FA) - Ill be going over FA for each course once I finish reviewing the course so I will not add this in the books used coz Im planning on going over this book atleast twice regardless !!!

So here it goes;

Subjects studying in order and the books used -
(review which i plan on finishing in 2 months or less)

Beh Sci - Kaplan Video + Lecture Notes
Neuro - Kaplan Video + Lecture Notes + HY
Embryo -Kaplan Video + Lecture Notes
Histo -Kaplan Video + Lecture Notes + BRS
Biochem - BRS
Anat -BRS
Physio -BRS
Micro/ Immuno - CLinical Microbio made ridiculously simple
Path - Rapid Review and BRS
Pharm - BRS

Questions from - First AID QnA and Kaplan Qbook.
Qbanks - Uworld

I have read BRS for path and pharm once, and lippincotts for pharm and biochem as well so i have not included those two books in the review. Also, i will be watching the kaplan videos for all the courses after my 2 month review!

Hope this is a good review but any sort of feedback will be appreciated!

Wow ... This was one of my very first posts on the forums and I remember when no one replied .. EVER... I was like "This website sucks, no one replies, I'm never gonna end up using it" ... and A more than a year later ...... Here we are )))

It depends on your basic knowledge! Take the free diagnostic exam from Kaplan and then assess yourself.

woww thanks....i have looking all over this forum in search of a study plan...this plan really has given me a clear idea on how to start. im planning to write my exam after a yr nd haf (aftr my medicine) but wanted to start atleast so that i wont panic next year and wont waste my time on planning. thanks a lot
