Negative Acute Phase Reactants means they decrease (not increase) during inflammation:

The mnemonic is 3TAR
TRANSCORTIN
TRANSFERRIN
TRANSTHYRETIN
ALBUMIN & PREALBUMIN
RETINOL BINDING PROTIEN

Do not confuse this with the positive acute phase reactants like C-Reactive Protein and Ferritin as they these proteins increase in inflammation (not decrease)
