If you cut off the autonomic supply to the heart how it will respond to
1. Changes in resistance
2. Exercise

please pardon my ignorance, but isn't cutting off the autonomic supply is similar to ganglion block? If that is the case,then sympathetic action will have the override on heart's behavior.

I guess:

The heart rate will increase to 100 bpm during rest since the parasympathetic discharge that normally decrease the rate from 100 to 70 in the Sinoatrial node.
During Excercise: I think it will stay the same 100. since the sympathetic supply was cut.
