if father has an mitochondrial derived late onset optic atrophy and the partner history is unremarkable what is the risk of developing this optic atrophy in male child of that couple ??

0% 25% 100%

yaaaa i knoe its 0 % but in one of the old NBME the answer they gave was 100% i was like thats not possible at all
may be the answer they marked was wrong

yeah definitely 0% ( i even said it out loud when i read the question).

ecgram.. there's no doubt u're in ur biochem study phase now. :)

dont believe the NBME answers. try finding ur own. if i were u i wouldnt even attempt it because it will mislead u as that's not NBME answers but students' answers. be careful k.

no sorry i dont have NBME offline with answers. the best is to pay that little bit n do the online NBME. u wont regret it.:) so i was told.
