Where do we see Owl's Eye appearance in pathology questions

  • Reed Sternberg Cells in Hodgkin's disease "where we have symmetric mirror image bilobed nucleus.
  • CMV Intracytoplasmic inclusions also called Cowdry inclusions
  • Giardia lamblia trophozoites as seen under the microscope
There might be more, please add to the thread

Do all Cowdry type A cells have the "owl eye" appearance? I know that CMV is classically know as the "owl eye", but HSV1, HSV2 and VZV also are known to have Cowdry A bodies (FA 2011). Do these also have the owl eye? Thanks
