This thread has been here for a while, it has received over 400 replies. There has been lots of confusions and misunderstandings about the companies listed above.
Therefore we decided to remove all replies and keep only the poll options to make it simple.
Please feel free to vote for the company that you might think is the best in providing paid externship services for IMGs.
We will continue to monitor the voting and we'll delete any suspicious artificial voting by the companies themselves.
The sequence of listing of the companies is related to when the company was added to the poll, older companies are up in the list while newly added companies get added to the bottom, it has nothing to do with our preference of any of these companies.
If you would like to contact these companies please click on the linked options above and you will be taking to their respective website. Please beware that not all of these companies provide Hands-On Externships, some of them might be only providing Observerships, please contact each individual company about the details of their offerings.
Also to make it fair, votes that are older than 18 months will automatically be deleted this will give similar chances to companies recently added to the list as compared to companies that have been there for several years.
We will also continue to monitor these companies, any externship provider whom we think is engaging in scamming or has non-professional website, we'll remove it. Externship companies that are removed will not stay in the poll, the entire line would be removed.
Please do not post your reply into this thread, just cast your vote if you like any of the companies. If you want to express your opinion positive or negative, please start a new thread. Reply posts will be moved to new stand-alone threads by mods.
The aim of this poll is to provide IMGs with a fair and non-biased poll about which is the best paid externships companies that are available across USA.
Some of these companies might be a sponsoring advertiser in the USMLE Forums website, such companies won't be given an unfair advantage in the poll count. Any company that engages in artificial inflation of the vote will be removed from the poll.
Also, some companies have specifically contacted us and requested their company be removed from the poll, we won't accept such request on the grounds of "free-speech" that we follow here in USMLE Forums.
