The Children's of Minnesota Hospital provides one month pediatric observerships @ no cost.
Although the hospital has no residency program but it's a great opportunity to boost your CV with great LoRs.
They no longer provide externships, but they still provide observerships.

thank you

hi Rasheed,
thank you for the info, but it seems as it is written in the website that you have to obtain a preceptor (sponsor), who must be a member of Children's professional staff, does that mean that you have to know some one their and contact him to be your preceptor? and if you don't know any one then you can't have the chance to do the observership?
thanks again ...

Yes, you have to be sponsored by an attending there.
If you don't have connection then you best bet is to try to contact them via email one-by-one and see if any one of them replies to you.
